Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, accessing or making purchases within BrainRoll ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are between you and EkaAi Technologies ("we", "us", "our").

BrainRoll provides habit tracking and digital wellbeing tools that:

• Counts short-form video scroll events on your device
• Lets you challenge friends to scroll less (battles)
• Tracks a recovery score based on your scroll history
• Runs community challenges ("boss fights")

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use BrainRoll. By using the App, you confirm you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

BrainRoll does not require an email account or social login. You are identified by a randomly-generated anonymous code (e.g., BRN-82KF91). You are responsible for keeping your friend code private and only sharing it with people you trust.

BrainRoll may offer optional paid subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases.

• Billing & Payment Processing: All in-app transactions are processed via Google Play In-App Billing or authorized payment processors. You agree to provide valid payment credentials and authorize the applicable store or payment gateway to charge the designated amounts.
• Automatic Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew at the beginning of each billing interval (monthly, quarterly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel an active subscription at any time via the Google Play Store Subscriptions center (or payment portal). Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the expiration of your current prepaid billing cycle.
• Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to revise subscription fees or pricing for digital goods. Any subscription price adjustments will be notified in advance in accordance with platform policies.
• Refunds: All purchases and refunds are governed strictly by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree not to:

• Artificially inflate or falsify your scroll count to win battles or gain leaderboard position
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the App in ways that harm other users or our servers
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our backend systems or other users' data

We may suspend or terminate access for violations without prior notice.

BrainRoll requests Android Accessibility Service access solely to detect scroll gesture counts in supported short-form video applications. You grant this permission voluntarily and may revoke it anytime via your device Settings. Revoking access halts live scroll counting and online battle syncing until permission is re-enabled.

The BrainRoll name, brain mascot artwork and associated brand assets are owned by EkaAi Technologies and may not be used without written permission.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EkaAi Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, since the App is free, is zero).

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be communicated through in-app notices or by revising the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the App following changes constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
